The 7 D’s of Life

Here are 7 specific spiritual keys, concepts, or principles to attaining, striving to achieve anything that you want in life! I call them the 7 D’s of Life.

  1. Destination: You have to know where you are, and then where you are going! 1 Corinthians 9:24 – Everyone runs – yet only one gets the prize!
  2. Dream-Vision: Once you know where you are going, dream about WHY you should have and live with it.  In other words, see yourself having accomplished the DREAM!  Habakkuk 2:2 – Write the vision – make it plain (so) that he that reads it can run (You are the one to READ and RUN with it)!
  3. Decision: Make the quality decision that you will be or become, have and/or do what ever it is that you want, especially what God reveals to you!  Decide to take action to make your Dreams come true!
  4. Deadline: Make sure that you give yourself a deadline for when you will have accomplished your Dream!  Remember that it does not have to be perfect to begin.  You only have to start living and working towards the goal or dream and working out the kinks in perfecting it.
  5. Drive:  Stay motivated.  When you mess up and get off track, do not become frustrated and quit.  Take a deep breath, call someone if you need help, and start again.  Remember that no one ever failed who never quit trying! Also remember this, “When you are behind, Do Not Give Up! And when you are ahead, Do Not Let Up!”
  6. Discipline: Stay on track!  Each and every day!  Be persistent and consistent!   “What ever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance.  It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.”  Colossians 3:23, 24 (NAS).
  7. Determination: Never Ever Give UP. “Steady plodding brings prosperity (SUCCESS!)” – Proverbs 21:20.

I pray that you will seriously consider this principles and apply them to your life, your dreams, and your goals!

Methods are many,

Principles are few,

Methods ALWAYS change,

Principles NEVER do!

May you never settle for anything less than you are capable of!

God Bless You in your endeavors of the 7 D’s!
